Alice's preparations began at Kings John's House, on the Rushmore Estate. The mid-September weather held so they could wed outdoors in-front of the Roman Temple, in the grounds of the Larmer Tree Gardens. After the civil ceremony, there was a Jewish blessing. Speeches were outside on the lawn by the Singing Theatre. In the evening there was traditional African entertainment followed by a hora dance.
After photographing weddings here for almost 13 years, the Larmer Tree Gardens still remains one of my favourite wedding venues. Charlie & Alice's wedding day was action packed from start to finish. Above are just a handful of highlights from their day.
