After more than 18 years as a wedding photographer, and over 400 weddings photographed, I thought I’d seen just about everything. Then, in the build-up to their wedding in September 2026, one of my couples suggested a rather unconventional stop-off during their drinks reception – McDonald’s!
I’ll admit, I wasn’t immediately convinced. But it was so them, and that’s exactly what made it work. As a Hampshire wedding photographer, I love photographing couples in a way that feels authentic to who they are, and this planned mini shoot turned out to be so much fun – and produced some brilliant images.
