Pre-wedding venue visit.
Capture the story of your wedding day from a second vantage point. Booking a second photographer is subject to availability.
I recommend two beautiful hand-crafted wedding albums, also known as coffee table books, from two different suppliers.
Coverage: All day.
What does all day coverage mean? It means I don't rigidly restrict the photography to a set number of hours. Years ago I had various wedding photography packages based on different tiers of increasing hours. That doesn't fit with my story-telling approach. Typically, I'll start two to three hours before the bride leaves for the wedding ceremony (if you want all your pre-ceremony moments captured) and finish 30-60 minutes after the first dance. You'll get a definite start time but I won't be watching the clock after the first dance.
Digital images: At least 400.
The best images from the day are hand-picked by me. I will deliver at least 400 (there could be more – there is no cap). The images are delivered in their native high-resolution (5000+px, 300ppi) without any watermarks, and you're automatically granted a royalty free license. Why 400? On average I take 1,200 photographs over a typical 10 hour day. l then aim to deliver at least a third of what I've captured (my actual delivery return is typically greater than 45%). That's a healthy figure! But that’s not what matters to you. What matters is that your story will be told authentically and naturally, with zero filler and no arbitrary limits.
Editing: Colour and black & white.
I keep all the editing in-house. The final product is just as important to me as when I capture the initial moment. For that reason I don't use presets designed by others and stay away from faddish colour trends. As a result your wedding day story will be timeless and authentic. Your final images will be delivered in a combination of colour and B&W.
Travel: 80 miles.
I typically work in Hampshire and the surrounding central southern counties. Up to 80 miles (round-trip) of travel by car for the wedding day is included as standard in the package. If your venue is further afield we can discuss the options available to you.
Pre-wedding venue visit:
This enables us to walk through your plans and ideas together in person at your wedding venue – all before your big day. It also serves as a nice ice-breaker. The visit often works well about four weeks beforehand and is a unique selling point offered in my wedding photography package.
Booking deposit: £200.
Both a deposit (non-refundable) and signed service agreement are required to confirm a booking. Check today to see if I'm available for your wedding day. A copy of my service agreement will be provided alongside your quote.
Delivery: Digital transfer.
Two weeks after your wedding day your images will be ready to see for the first time. You will be able to view and share all the highlights from the day in a beautiful online gallery. The final images will be shared electronically using a file sharing app. You can also share this link with others, meaning free downloads for your family and friends.
Off-peak discount: £200.
Planning a winter or midweek wedding? Enjoy a £200 off-peak discount. Winter season: January – February. Midweek: Monday – Wednesday.
In short, yes. If you want some that is. There’s no rule to say you have to. From time-to-time I shoot weddings where the bride and groom don't want any. If interested, you can read more about my approach to group photos.
Your wedding photographs will be ready to view two weeks after your wedding day.
On the first day of the month of your wedding. These questions and more are answered in my service agreement. You can request a copy along with a quote from my contact page.
